The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Year 4 or 5 Registered Nurse in our Acute Medical Unit with cardiac telemetry and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU). Ward 4C is a 36-bed ward consisting of 10 dedicated beds for MAU and 26 general medical beds. 4C is fast-paced and an exciting place to work. The successful candidate will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and a multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidence-based care. This ward is an innovative and dynamic department dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our community. We are committed to providing the highest levels of healthcare and services, with a strong focus on leadership and ongoing development of skills for all new staff. As an experienced nurse you will bring to our team:
Responsibilities
Provide quality, evidenced-based care in a fast-paced 4C ward (MAU and medical beds).
Work within a supportive, dynamic team of nurses and multidisciplinary staff.
Demonstrate commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.
Apply sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills.
Engage in ongoing development to enhance skills for all new staff.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Minimum 1 to 2 years in an acute hospital setting
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care

Salary is based on years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024, with a typical range of $35.46–$49.79 per hour.
