About the Role
As Centre Director, you’ll lead the centre’s people, quality, and operations, balancing excellence in compliance with a warm, community-minded approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Embed a strong safeguarding culture where child safety comes first.
- Oversee daily operations: staffing, rostering, facilities, and family engagement.
- Drive quality against the NQS and lead A&R; preparedness.
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and centre performance.
- Build trusted relationships with families and the local community.
- Champion continuous improvement through reflection, feedback, and data.
About You
- Proven leadership in early childhood or multi-site education settings.
- Deep knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.
- Strength in people leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Operational and financial acumen (budgets, occupancy, reporting).
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent).
- Current Working With Children Check and relevant clearances.
- Values-led, reflective, and committed to professional growth.
