Overview
Due to continued growth and expansion Hare & Forbes’ CNC Division are looking for Customer Focused CNC Service Technicians. The role will join the expanding CNC Division to support our rapidly increasing customer base. This exciting role will involve working with many types and sizes of CNC machine tools and ancillary equipment from some of the World’s Largest Machine Tool Builders. You'll be installing and commissioning equipment, doing preventative maintenance, breakdown service repairs, pre delivery inspection and testing all while providing outstanding ongoing support to our customers.
What will you need?
- Experience with industrial CNC controls and systems e.g. Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain etc
- Experience with CNC laser cutters, pressbrakes and plasma cutters
- Trade or Engineering qualifications with a background in Fitting Machining, Toolmaking, Mechanical Engineering or Robotics & Mechatronics
- The ability to share your experience and knowledge of CNC machining and programming
- Experience in the installation, diagnosis and repair of CNC Machining and Turning centres
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional manner in front of customers
- The ability to travel within Victoria, occasionally interstate and overseas
- The ability to work efficiently, autonomously, or as part of a team as the situation dictates
- Australian citizenship or the current ability to work in Australia
