Job Description
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accounting standards, and funding requirements.
- Assist with grant acquittals, donor reporting, and audit preparation.
- Maintain financial systems, internal controls, and data integrity.
- Support leadership with financial insights and strategic planning.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, funders, and regulatory bodies.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the not-for-profit space in a Finance Officer role (where you were exposed to both AR and AP)
- Experience with Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to learn quickly and be adaptive
