Job Description
As a senior full stack engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and commissioning real-time power system software for the energy and utilities industry. You will work closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure solutions meet operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop critical power system operation software solutions.
* Collaborate with project and integration teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Support production readiness and develop relevant documentation and materials.
* Assist with transition-to-support planning and provide subject matter expertise for enhancements.
* Contribute to the ongoing reliability and security of digital systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years' experience in software design, development, and integration.
* Experience delivering enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, Java, Spring Boot.
* Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and ORMs (e.g. Entity Framework, Dapper, Hibernate).
* Familiarity with Vue, Angular, React, Blazor or similar front-end frameworks.
* Experience building scalable web APIs and working with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets.
* Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo).
* Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of SCADA, PI, or real-time systems is an advantage.
Benefits:
This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a salary of AU$900 - AU$950 per day. The job is located in Perth, WA, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
