">Job Description
As a member of our Future Technology Group, you'll be part of a dynamic team that influences design and operational decisions to ensure the overall stability of our gaming service. Your focus will be on three key areas: production ownership, production code quality, and deployments.
">Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Development and/or Linux Systems Administration
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to participate in decision-making at different levels
* Proficiency as a Linux Production Systems Engineer with experience managing large-scale Web Services infrastructure
* Development experience in Python (preferred) or other languages like Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust
* Experience with at least three of the following topics:
o Distributed data storage at scale (Hadoop, Ceph)
o Data Aggregation technologies (ElasticSearch, Kafka)
o Scaling and running traditional RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with High Availability
o Monitoring & Alerting (Prometheus, Grafana), and Incident Management toolsets
o Kubernetes and/or AWS (deployment and management)
o Software Distribution (Package management and distribution at scale)
o Configuration Management (ansible, saltstack, puppet, chef)
o S/W Performance analysis and load testing (QA or SDET experience: a plus)
