* Diagnose and repair a diverse range of material handling and loading dock equipment, including forklifts, dock levellers, and hoists, focusing on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and scheduled servicing at customer sites and in the workshop.
* Provide on-site customer service, troubleshooting issues, offering technical support, and building strong client relationships.
* Complete accurate documentation of all services performed, including timesheets and maintenance records.
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols and compliance standards in all work environments.
* Travel regularly to various customer locations in the Gold Coast and Southside of Brisbane.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and potentially provide on-the-job training to less experienced staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* You're a qualified Mechanical Fitter or Engineer
* 2+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician OR mechanical fitter
* You have a valid drivers licence
* Excellent collaboration skills
* Valuable: experience in preventive maintenance
Benefits:
