**Position overview**
The Department of Immunology and Infectious Disease on the John Curtin School of Medical Research is seeking a Research Technician to work on new projects in the Tscharke Laboratory (Viruses and Immunity) focusing on herpes simplex virus pathogensis, including latency and immunity to viral infection. We especially welcome applicants with experience with some or all of the following:
- In vivo models of infection and immunity
- Molecular biology methods
- Cell culture and work with infectious microbes
