Classroom Teacher – Junior Primary (F-2) 
Location: Holy Cross Primary School, New Gisborne

Holy Cross Primary School is seeking an experienced and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our Junior Primary team. We are looking for a dynamic educator who embraces the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement, and is committed to fostering curiosity, growth, and a love of learning in every child.
About the Role:
- Plan and implement high-quality learning programs.
- Deliver evidence-based, differentiated teaching that meets the needs of all learners leveraging frameworks such as MTSS to provide targeted support where needed.
- Understand each child as a learner and adapt instruction to maximise engagement and outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives that align with our Catholic identity and the strategic direction of MACS.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience teaching Junior Primary, preferably Foundation.
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, explicit teaching, and differentiated practice.
- Highly organised, collaborative, and reflective practitioner.
- A commitment to excellence in curriculum design and student engagement, recognising the importance of predictable routines and a well-structured learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent.
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willingness to obtain).
