CMBM Facility Services is a well-established, Queensland-owned company experiencing strong growth across the state. We deliver high-quality commercial cleaning and facility services across a diverse client base.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated 2IC Cleaner / Leading Hand to support our Gladstone operations. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on cleaning, team leadership, training, site inspections and light administration, working closely with the Area Manager to ensure service excellence.

Flexible Work Options
We are flexible for the right candidate and can offer:
Full-time option: 38 hours per week with a mix of administration, leading hand duties and cleaning
OR
Part-time option: Minimum 16+ hours per week for the right candidate
Some periodic night work will be required for training, supervision and site support.
A company vehicle is provided for inspections, audits, stock runs and operational duties during work hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Area Manager with day-to-day site operations, leadership and operational coverage as required.
* Build and maintain positive client relationships and respond professionally to client requests and service issues.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure cleaning standards, safety and service quality are maintained.
* Address and rectify cleaning issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
* Train, mentor and support cleaners, including periodic night training and supervision.
* Manage stock, consumables and site resupply, including ordering and stocktakes.
* Assist with basic administration, including timesheets, payroll sign-off and roster support.
* Step into site coverage and operational support during periods of leave or operational demand.
About You
* Previous commercial cleaning experience, with supervisory or leading hand experience highly regarded.
* Strong communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised with good time management and administration capability.
* Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Willing and able to perform both hands-on cleaning and coordination / administrative duties.
* Current Driver's Licence and full Right to Work in Australia.
* Availability for occasional night work for training and operational support.
* Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check (Blue Card) – required for school sites.
