* This role is ideal for a highly skilled and dedicated surgeon or specialist doctor seeking a challenging opportunity in a leading private healthcare provider in Australia.
The position requires the ability to provide surgical assistant skills, review patients, participate in department meetings and clinical teaching opportunities.
* Current Medical Practitioner AHPRA Registration (General Registration)
* MBBS and eligible for AHPRA Registration
* Experience in a similar role within the public or private health sector
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and training requirements for junior doctors
* Excellent computer applications knowledge, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and the Internet
* Ability to liaise and develop positive working relationships with relevant authorities and VMOs/Staff Specialists
* PGY3 or more
* Current Advanced Life Support certification
* Ability to identify deteriorating patients and provide immediate resuscitation
* Team player with excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
* Demonstrated flexibility and organisational skills
* Excellent technical skills, including central venous access, arterial lines, and endotracheal intubation
