We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits and investigations across various services, providing expert advice on internal controls, risk management, and compliance, contributing to audit planning and strategic improvement, mentoring and supporting junior audit staff, and delivering clear, high-impact reports to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, membership and certification from the appropriate professional body, strong knowledge and demonstrated significant experience in all facets of audit in line with applicable standards and best practice, superior skills and significant demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, standards and policies applicable to a complex organisation, highly developed and demonstrated experience in consultation and negotiation skills and the proven ability to drive the objectives of audits and reviews, experience contributing and working effectively independently and in a team, as well as being self-motivated and flexible to adapt in a changing environment, strong analytical, research and organisational skills, demonstrated highly developed communication (verbal and written), coaching and facilitation skills, and demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, research, problem solving and formulating improvement strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (degree level)
* Membership and certification from the appropriate professional body
* Strong knowledge and demonstrated significant experience in all facets of audit in line with applicable standards and best practice
* Superior skills and significant demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, standards and policies applicable to a complex organisation
* Highly developed and demonstrated experience in consultation and negotiation skills and the proven ability to drive the objectives of audits and reviews
