About the role
The Talent and Capability Advisor is a full-time, ongoing role within the People and Customer team, providing practical HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, capability development, and HR systems and reporting. The role contributes to delivering efficient, compliant and people-focused services that support organisational goals.
Working closely with managers, the Advisor supports end-to-end recruitment activities, from identifying workforce needs to onboarding, while promoting a positive candidate experience and strengthening the organisation’s ability to attract and retain talent.
The position also supports learning and development initiatives, maintains accurate HR data, and provides workforce insights to inform decision-making. High-level proficiency in computerised systems, particularly HRIS/HRMS and LMS platforms, is essential to ensure data integrity, streamline processes, and contribute to a capable and high-performing workforce.
About you
You are a qualified HR professional with a Certificate IV (or higher) in Human Resources, business or a related discipline, bringing demonstrated experience across recruitment and learning and development. You have a strong background in delivering end-to-end recruitment services within a client-focused environment, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
With highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, you build effective working relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders. You are confident in written communication, reporting and presenting, with the ability to influence and engage others to achieve positive outcomes.
You are also technically proficient, with experience using HRIS and Learning Management Systems, and have the capability to analyse workforce data to provide meaningful insights. You bring a proactive approach to supporting cultural change and are committed to upholding organisational values and contributing to a high-performing workforce.
