Narrabri Hospital is nestled in the heart of the Northwest Slopes, offering a modern healthcare environment with a welcoming, community-focused approach. The Narrabri Infusion/Oncology Unit provides advanced treatments close to home, supporting oncology patients with outpatient therapies including immunotherapy and other infusion treatments. The unit operates under the guidance of visiting specialists and a dedicated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and is a cornerstone of compassionate, comprehensive care in the region.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical & Surgical wards, you'll work in a dynamic environment that values teamwork, learning, and person-centred care. You'll gain exposure across diverse specialties while contributing to high standards of care for patients in a rural setting.


What We're Looking For

Our successful candidate will have:

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* A strong spirit of collaboration and teamwork, with a commitment to delivering person-centred care
* A passion for continuous learning and professional development, with support for further training within your specialty
* Experience in acute care nursing (highly regarded), with a readiness to grow in a supportive and skilled environment
* A proactive attitude and willingness to travel for education and professional growth opportunities

Additional Information

* * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. If your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. Check eligibility at the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
