The role
Troocoo are seeking a Principal Finance Advisor to join a major infrastructure program on the Sunshine Coast..
This exciting opportunity sits within the Integrated Program Team delivering two transformative infrastructure projects that will support the Sunshine Coast's future growth and the delivery of the 2032 Olympic Games:
As the Principal Finance Advisor you will be responsible for managing and reporting on program and project financial performance, providing critical financial insights to support decision-making and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver project financial reports for a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and maintain financial reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Provide financial analysis, including variance reporting, trend analysis, and financial performance insights.
- Partner with finance teams to manage monthly cash flow forecasting and reporting processes.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records across systems including SAP, Oracle Primavera Unifier (3PCM), and other financial management platforms.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Contribute as a senior member of the Project Controls team to support successful program delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- CPA qualification and/or tertiary qualifications (Bachelor's degree or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, financial management, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience developing financial reports and dashboards using Microsoft applications, including Power BI.
- Strong financial analysis and stakeholder reporting experience.
- Proven leadership capability within finance-related roles.
- Experience working within government environments as a Finance Manager or similar role.
Highly Desirable
- SAP system experience.
- Experience working within large-scale infrastructure or project environments.
