Your Role:
As the Company Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in the continued financial success of the business, working closely with the CFO to provide accurate financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Your duties will include:
* Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, with in-depth analysis.
* Updating cash flow weekly forecasts to keep finances on track.
* Reconciliation of Trade Debtors and COO accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Oversee compliance (BAS, PAYG, FBT, monthly accounts and income tax).
* Developing and updating company and departmental budgets for future growth.
* Strategic analysis of GP margins, cost structures, and EBIT to maximize profitability.
* Skillful management of capital expenditure to optimize resources.
Your Background:
* Bring several years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ideally within a medium to large commercial organization.
* Experienced in using ERP systems (essential), beyond Xero & MYOB
* Possess strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate financial risks.
* Embrace a hands-on, team-focused approach, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
