Lead Rural Sales
This role is a prime opportunity to oversee sales and growth in the rural sector. As a key figure, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations and driving success through exceptional customer service and advice.
* Manage sales and inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns and debtor arrangements.
* Oversee staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training and performance management.
* Nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities and provide value-add training with suppliers.
* Provide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines.
* Assist with the development and implementation of retail strategy, including implementing and driving key sales campaigns and activities.
To succeed, you will have:
* Experience leading dynamic sales teams and a background in agronomy or the rural industry.
* Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and prepare profit and loss reports.
* A passion for building strong relationships, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite and operating point-of-sale systems.
* An understanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, and the market.
* A team player with great communication skills and a collaborative approach.
