Job Description
A Facilities Manager is required to oversee facilities operations at a large, complex, and critical Department of Communities & Justice site. This role involves managing contract financials, budgets, invoicing, cost control, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and resilient leader with a passion for service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong experience in property, real estate, or facilities management, ideally in government or high-security sectors
* Proven success in managing subcontractors, budgets, projects, and maintenance operations
* Deep understanding of QA, OH&S, and environmental systems
* Financial acumen including budget forecasting and invoice reconciliation
* CMMS proficiency (e.g., BEIMS or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite
