Highly skilled individuals are sought after to work on the design, development, and integration of advanced CBTC systems. As a senior network and radio engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that signaling and communication systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance while also satisfying customer requirements and industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement Wi-Fi networks to ensure optimal coverage, performance, and security.
* Conduct site surveys to identify optimal access point placement and minimize interference.
* Develop and implement template radio architectures, tailoring them to project requirements and integrating performance characteristics according to customer specifications.
* Configure and optimize Data Communication Systems (DCS) for CBTC systems.
* Evaluate DCS design and architecture to enhance system architecture focusing on network security.
* Manage a team of DCS engineers, including resource allocation and budgeting.


Requirements

* Masters degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering with specialization in wired and wireless network technologies.
* 10+ years of experience in wireless network design and planning; signaling experience preferred.
* Experience working on large design-build projects for communications systems.
* Ability to design scalable and efficient Wi-Fi networks tailored to specific environments and requirements.
* Proficiency in analyzing radio frequency spectrum, identifying interference sources, and optimizing signal quality for maximum performance.
* Hands-on experience in radio design and network configuration.
* Team player with excellent social skills and sense of responsibility.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
