Overview

We are a not-for-profit health care provider delivering comprehensive youth services. As a Family Support Worker, you will contribute to providing intensive, short-term and community education interventions for children at risk of mental health difficulties, working across a multidisciplinary team.

Salary: $41.45 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, short‐term support and community education interventions to children and their families in the Latrobe Valley.
• Deliver direct support to children at risk of developing mental health illnesses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to children, young people, and families.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in health, community services, behavioural/social sciences.
• A current Working with Children Check.
