Position: Hairdresser
Location: Calvary Haydon Retirement Community
Responsibilities:
Provide professional hairdressing services to our residents on-site.
Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents during their appointment.
Offer a range of services including haircuts, styling, colouring, and basic hair care treatments.
Engage with residents to understand their preferences and ensure their satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon area.
The successful applicant would be engaged approximately once weekly, to be negotiated. They will work as a sub-contractor to the organisation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a hairdresser with expertise in cutting and styling hair.
Empathy and patience in working with individuals.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
Certification or relevant training in hairdressing.
