The Opportunity
Veris are seeking a Survey Draftsperson to assist with our extensive and exciting national project portfolio. The primary purpose of this position is to service drafting needs for a range of projects and produce survey plans using the latest technology. This role is an office based position with no field work expected or required. The role may be suitable for graduates within in-house training provided by Veris.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Interpret survey data, field notes and engineering designs accurately.
* Translating survey data and engineering design information for precise technical drawings.
* Produce drawings and Cad files to project and industry standards
* Draft plans such as feature surveys, setout plans, long sections and cross sections.
A tertiary qualification is preferred or the role may suit someone who is currently studying Drafting, Survey, Civil Engineering or GIS based courses.

* Sound time management skills
* Experience with AutoCAD / BricsCAD and/or Microstation preferred.
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
* Willingness to contribute to ongoing process and procedure improvement.
* Experience working with 12D would be advantageous, but not essential.
