The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients to ensure their marketing activity is well planned, executed, and delivering results. They will maintain client relationships, coordinate internal teams, and translate business goals into clear marketing actions.
This is a part‑time position, three to four days per week. Flexible work options are available to support work‑life balance.
The role includes both strategy and delivery. Initially, you will support content and campaign tasks while the team grows, with a stronger focus on planning, reporting, and growth management over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Growth
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to shape impactful marketing and brand strategies.
- Facilitate growth planning sessions to uncover new opportunities.
- Present fresh, relevant creative ideas back to clients.
- Work with directors to develop quarterly and annual marketing plans.
- Account Management
- Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for assigned clients.
- Keep projects on track with explicit briefs and expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships built on responsiveness and transparency.
- Flag risks or exciting opportunities early.
- Marketing Execution & Content
- Write and edit content across social, digital, and web channels.
- Help manage and schedule marketing calendars.
- Assist with campaign execution and basic ad support.
- Report on performance with clarity, relevance, and zero jargon.
- Project Management & Oversight
- Coordinate marketing and web projects, using ClickUp for task and approval workflows.
- Confirm director sign‑off and payment milestones before moving into new project phases.
- Maintain organised communication and documentation.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, developers, and digital marketers.
- Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions.
- Support influencer outreach and partnership opportunities as needed.
- Development & Upskilling
- Learn and grow across complementary marketing skills.
- Keep up with evolving digital trends.
- Progress toward a senior brand and strategy advisory role.
Must Haves
- Account management experience in a marketing or agency setting.
- Confident communication and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Practical understanding of marketing strategy and reporting.
- Experience working with creative and digital teams.
- Proactive approach to keeping projects moving.
- Comfortable leading client conversations.
- Availability 3–4 days per week with some flexibility.
