Urgent Care Nurse Manager Position
About the Role:
This senior nursing leadership role is responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality urgent care services.
1. Leadership and Operations: Oversees day-to-day operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-ready environment.
2. Service Delivery and Coordination: Coordinates equipment, stock, consumables, facilities issues, and site presentation.
3. Workforce Planning and Development: Leads recruitment, onboarding, rosters, and workforce planning for all site staff.
4. Administrative Tasks: Manages timesheets, shift approvals, and coordinates payroll accuracy.
5. Training and Competency: Supports training, competencies, and ongoing development of the clinical team.
6. Clinical Workflow Optimization: Optimises patient flow, triage processes, and clinical workflows.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with UCC standards, audits, quality, and clinical governance.
8. Risk Management: Manages incidents, risks, cold chain issues, and escalates appropriately.
9. Business and Practice Management: Oversees business/practice management tasks including billing queries, suppliers, site expenses, and reporting.
10. Patient and Community Engagement: Builds strong relationships with local hospitals, PHNs, GPs, and community partners to support service growth.
