Woods & Co Recruitment is a Melbourne-based recruitment firm specialising across Property & Construction, Finance & IT, Hospitality, Business Services and operations.
This is a hands-on Accounts & Payroll role supporting the internal finance function at Woods & Co. You'll own end-to-end payroll and core accounts processes, working closely with leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance and smooth day-to-day operations.

What do you do?
* End-to-end payroll processing using Xero, FoundU or equivalent (including Gusto for US payroll)
* Managing contractor and internal staff payroll
* Ensuring payroll compliance (PAYG, super, leave, STP)
* Accounts payable and receivable processing
* Invoicing, reconciliations and payroll reporting
* Managing payroll and accounts-related queries
* Supporting month-end processes and reporting
What do you need?
* 2+ years' experience in accounts and payroll
* Hands-on experience with Xero, FoundU, Gusto or similar payroll platforms
* Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation
* Exposure to international or US payroll (highly regarded)
* High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
