As a Vice President in Currency and Emerging Markets (CEM) Sales you will be responsible for maintaining and developing key institutional relationships (asset managers, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds etc) as well as the day-to-day execution of all relevant CEM products across G10 FX and EM FX/Rates. You will need to be fluent across these products to be able to navigate conversations with key accounts and provide relevant market insight along with idea generation. In addition, you will bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in both trading and research as well as other product areas to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Able to understand, transact, price and understand FX and Fixed Income products
- Has been in a client facing role in the relevant products
- 5+ years of sales experience in a relevant sales role
- Developed and established relationships with key i nstitutional clients at both trading and portfolio management levels
- Critical thinker and driver of trade concepts and themes for investor clients
- Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure
- Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skill set including; effective communication and presentation
- Strong team player that partners well with principals of the platform including Research and Trading
- The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
- Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
