We are seeking an experienced School Administration Co-Ordinator who is inspired and excited to work with us. The position is part-time, 3 days per week 8:30am – 4:00pm. There may be an opportunity to extend to full-time in 12 months for the right candidate. School administration experience is essential, along with proven experience in office management. Bookkeeping or payroll experience is highly valued.
Port Macquarie Steiner School is located on Birpai country on the mid-North coast of NSW. We are a vibrant school community with a dedicated staff, supportive board, and an enthusiastic parent body. We have composite classes from Kindergarten to Year 6 and are developing the school in readiness to move to our new campus at Thrumster. Towards the end of 2026 we will be operating with one Administration team across two campuses.

Essential Criteria and Experience:
· Previous recent experience in school administration
· Previous experience in management of a small team
· Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and enhance systems and processes to support multiple school functions
· Capacity to assist both adults (staff, parents and community members) and students
· High-level problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated ability to work flexibly to support and contribute to a team of staff
· High level communication skills
· Demonstrated high level organisational skills and attention to detail
· Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft 365
Desirable Criteria and Experience:
· Experience with school management system Sentral
· Experience with Xero
· Bookkeeping and payroll experience
