We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver to operate a front or rear lift truck in the waste management industry. On offer are fantastic pay rates ($40 ph + penalties & allowances) and ongoing work. Early starts at 2am with early finishes available in Danenong South
Location: Dandenong South VIC
Pay Rate: From $40 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday | Early starts between 2:00 AM - 3:00 AM
Shift Duration: 8-10 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
* Operate Rear Lift, or Front Lift trucks for scheduled commercial waste collections
* Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
* Follow route schedules efficiently and report any delays or issues
* Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
* Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
* Operate a front or rear lift waste collection truck
* Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic truck maintenance
* Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations
* Maintain a clean and professional truck at all times
Requirements
* Valid HR Truck Licence
* Must have minimum 2 years HR driving & rear lift experience (waste industry experience highly regarded)
* Strong reliability and commitment to early morning starts
* Physically fit with the ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift
* Driving history report required
