Overview

OSHC Assistant Director - Outside School Hours Care (Ongoing Full-time & Part-Time Positions) at Trinity College OSHC, Evanston South, SA.

The OSHC Assistant Director will work closely with the OSHC Director to lead and support the team in delivering high-quality Out of Hours School Care and education. This is an opportunity for both experienced leaders and professionals progressing in OSHC to make a positive impact in a values-driven environment.

Permanent full-time role with a variety of hours and location options. Closing date: 10 October 2025. Location: Alexander Ave, Evanston South SA, Australia. Type: Full-Time. Status: Permanent.


What you'll do

* Create an environment where learning and growth are central for children and educators, staying up to date with best practices and parent community requirements.
* Design and coordinate experiences aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework and aimed to meet or exceed the National Quality Standard (NQS).
* Ensure all service aspects meet ACECQA and Education Standards Board (ESB) requirements while maintaining child-led learning, safety, fun, and curiosity.
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in your care.
* Supervise and support children during indoor/outdoor activities, meals, and rest periods.
* Uphold OSHC standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
* Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
* Champion child protection protocols and uphold confidentiality standards.


What you'll bring

* Qualifications:
o A relevant ACEQA approved qualification with demonstrated industry experience in a comparable role is preferred (Diploma, Cert III or IV in Youth Work, Social Work, Allied Health, Health, Sport and Recreation, Creative Arts, Psychology, Disability, Community Services, Leisure and Health, or two years of a four-year Teaching degree).
o Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
o Current RRHAN-EC Fundamentals & Masterclass Certificate.
o First Aid Certificate (Desirable).
* Skills & Attributes:
o Experience leading and supporting a team in delivering safe, enjoyable, high-quality care and education.
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships with children.
o Commitment to inclusive practices and the church-affiliated values of the college.
o Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and uphold high standards for child wellbeing and development.
