We're searching for a motivated, experienced and flexible Legal Assistant to support this firm, in their Insurance & Health Team. This role will provide crucial support across the team and will take ownership in providing administrative and secretarial support, as well as client management across this space. This Firms Insurance & Health department is headed up by 29 well-respected principals across six states with two principals leading the growing team in Perth. The group is recognised throughout the insurance industry for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional service.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
File management - opening/closing files and filing/e-filing
Monthly billing and reporting
Adhering to client service standards
Drafting correspondence
Client liaison
Brief preparation
Diary and travel management including booking appointments
General PA and secretarial support
The Candidate
3+ years' previous experience as a Legal PA
Experience in defendant insurance or litigation is essential
Experience supporting multiple fee earners
Experience using precedent, billing and file management programs
Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
Excellent client management skills
Robust communication skills
Ability to build strong internal relationships, working closely with the PA group and being a strong team player
