A pivotal role within a well-established procurement and contracts function, offering clear scope to influence sourcing outcomes across the organisation.
Sitting within an experienced contracts team and reporting to the Contracts Manager, this role will see you lead sourcing and contracting activities across a range of goods and services categories, with particular responsibility for logistics-related procurement.
* Managing sourcing-to-contract processes, including drafting and issuing RFx, managing clarifications, commercial evaluation of responses, negotiations, awarding and forming contracts
* Supporting the development and execution of savings plans, delivering measurable cost savings and operational improvements through contracting
* Advising end users and stakeholders on contract-related matters across operational and corporate functions
* Drafting and preparing contractual documentation
* Providing post-award contract management support as required, ensuring contracts are effectively managed through to contract closeout or completion
* Maintaining productive supplier relationships and participating in supplier performance reviews and commercial meetings
* Working closely with stakeholders across operations, projects, finance and supply chain teams to support sourcing outcomes
About You
Demonstrated experience in:
* Strategic sourcing, procurement or contracts management roles
* Leading end-to-end source-to-contract processes
* Managing RFx processes including RFP, RFQ and tender processes
* Supplier negotiations and commercial contract development
* Contract award, implementation and post-award contract management
* Developing and implementing sourcing or category strategies
* Delivering cost optimisation and commercial improvement initiatives
* Interpreting spend data and market intelligence to support sourcing decisions
* Providing commercial or contractual advice to internal stakeholders
* Stakeholder engagement across operational, project or supply chain environments
* Supplier relationship management including performance reviews and commercial meetings
* Working within ERP-based procurement environments (Pronto or similar advantageous)
* Procurement across categories such as logistics, freight, shipping, fixed plant, civil or mining services
