ABOUT THE COMPANY
Rapidly growing company in the northern suburbs are looking to appoint two qualified Electronics Technicians (one senior) to their team. ABOUT THE ROLE
Working in an established group of technicians you will undertake the following activities.
Undertake fault diagnosis, repair, and rework on a wide range of manufactured products according to released specifications
Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical rework tasks in support of all repair requirements
Use microscope and soldering equipment to add/remove small components on printed circuit boards, soldering of wires, and PCB repair when required
Adhere to company practices regarding safety and control of electrostatic discharge (ESD)
Utilise and update online databases with job fault diagnosis and repair details
Rework of damaged products
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
It is expected that you will be self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team. As well as having sound English communication skills you will have also the ability to logically document tasks & processes.
To be considered for this role, it is expected that you would bring the following skills & attributes.
Sound experience as a Electronics (rework) Technician using leaded, and lead-free chemistries
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 practices
Proficient in removal and replacing electronic components and thru-hole devices using hot air and/or soldering stations
Ability to read and interpret BOM, Assembly drawing, circuit diagrams and assembly instructions
Ability to work with mínimal supervision and strong time management skills
