Customer Relationship Manager – $100–110k + super + commission

The Role
As the business continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for a Relationship Manager to join a high-performing Regulatory Compliance team, responsible for managing and expanding an existing customer portfolio.
This is a relationship-focused role with accountability for customer retention, renewal outcomes, and identifying opportunities to increase customer value. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Specialists and internal stakeholders to understand client needs, identify gaps, and deliver tailored solutions.
While not a pure new-business position, the role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to proactively identify and convert upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
The position can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, with flexible hybrid working arrangements (typically one day per week in the office).
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of approximately 90+ Regulatory Compliance customers
* Drive retention, renewals, and overall customer satisfaction
* Identify and convert upsell opportunities within existing accounts
* Conduct regular customer engagement activities and solution demonstrations
* Collaborate with Product Specialists, Content, and Marketing teams to identify gaps and opportunities
* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve renewal and upsell targets
* Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Requirements
* Relevant industry experience, ideally within Risk & Compliance solutions; candidates from SaaS, Legal, or Professional Services will also be considered
* 3–5 years' experience in Relationship Management or Customer Success roles with a sales component
* Proven experience in solution or subscription-based sales environments
* Ability to balance account management ("farming") with identifying growth opportunities
* Strong communication and active listening skills
* Comfortable managing multiple customers and competing priorities
* Demonstrated understanding of the risk and compliance market and related solution offerings
* A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with a strong drive to succeed in a target-driven environment
