As we expand, we’re looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join us on this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in the future of Rombola Family Farms team based in Nericon, NSW. The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the human resource, based in Griffith, New South Wales, this entry-level position is essential for maintaining effective HR operations and ensuring compliance with company policies. The HR Assistant will assist with supporting our PALM side of the business from recruitment processes, employee onboarding and offboarding, and various administrative tasks to foster a positive workplace environment.
Key operational accountabilities include:
* Process PALM-related invoices (e.g. NIB health insurance, hostels).
* Support with managing Palm related accommodation
* Coordinate domestic flight bookings for PALM workers and source the most cost-effective options.
* Submit and manage internal and external training requests through the appropriate approval process.
* Order uniforms and Australia Post gift cards for PALM workers.
* Onboarding and offboarding process
* Conduct regular wellbeing check-ins and escalate concerns when necessary.
* Act as the first point of contact for office visitors and inbound phone calls
* Assist PALM workers with settling in, including system navigation and community referrals.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in handling invoices, forms, and compliance tasks.
* Comfortable working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
