A busy year-round venue hosting a huge variety of functions and events that Perth has to offer, is looking for an experienced **Events Sales Coordinator** who has a passion for the hospitality and events industry, is not afraid to 'look outside of the box' and possess exceptional client engagement and business development acumen.
This role is responsible for the successful sales, coordination, and event planning of functions, including initial enquiries, client liaison and function operations whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.
**The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to**:
- Client management, event planning and operational set up to deliver successful functions
- Conduct site inspections, client follow-ups and liaison, creating detailed event orders, floorplans, and invoicing
- Work with the S&M Mgr, on function leads and conversion
- Work co-operatively with operations and kitchen teams regarding handing over functions to ensure seamless delivery
- Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients to gain feedback and insight for continuous improvements
- Working directly with preferred suppliers and fostering successful partnerships
- Provide a unique and unforgettable service to customers and clients
**About You**
- Proven experience in a function venue or similar environment
- Demonstrated experience in sales and event coordination
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Passion, enthusiasm, and flair
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Proficiency in event management software or strong IT skills
