Are you a highly organised professional with a passion for training coordination and workforce readiness? Choose Wisely, a respected industry leader, and support the mobilisation, onboarding, and compliance of teams working across some of Queensland's largest Mining, Ports, Rail, and Infrastructure sites.
We are currently recruiting for a Shutdown Training Administrator to join our Mackay office, supporting our growing CHPP shutdown portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all training, competencies, and compliance requirements for shutdown personnel, ensuring every worker is site-ready, fully compliant, and prepared to hit the ground running when shutdowns commence.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of major CHPP shutdowns by ensuring training and onboarding processes are managed efficiently and accurately.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences for new employees
* Book pre-employment checks and QLD Coal Board medicals (ResHealth)
* Organise and manage inductions (QLD Coal, site-specific, and high-risk work)
* Maintain training and compliance requirements across all project teams
* Keep employee training records and documentation accurate and up to date
* Maintain and update skills and compliance matrices
* Support training needs analysis for shutdowns and long-term contracts
* Assist with general office and phone operations when required
What We're Looking For
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Clear and confident communication skills across all levels
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Familiarity with BMA, Glencore induction systems, and QLD Coal Board medicals
* Previous experience in training administration, onboarding, mobilisation, or workforce compliance (highly regarded)
