We are now seeking an experienced Volvo Heavy Diesel Technician to join our team in a field-based role, working primarily at customer sites. About the Role
As a Volvo Penta Technician, you will:
* Service and repair customer equipment, primarily on customer premises
* Prepare new equipment to a high standard
* Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while effectively prioritising time, safety, and quality
* Repair mechanical components including engines, ancillary equipment, and a wide range of vehicles and machinery
* Fit all accessories requested on repair orders
* Identify and advise on additional repair needs, including labour and time estimates
* Conduct test runs and inspections in line with Service Check Sheet requirements
* Produce clear, concise reports outlining work completed, parts used, and recommended actions

About You
To be successful, you will have:
* HC/HR licence (essential)
* Current Forklift and Doggers Licence
* Experience in the heavy vehicle industry
* Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a customer‐focused team
* Strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and ability to meet high standards
* High reliability and a positive, can‐do attitude
* Effective communication skills and commitment to safety
* Your own tools
