**Job Description**:
**A Great opportunity for a Field Laboratory Technician in Traralgon.**
**Duties include however not limited to**:
- To provide a sample pick up and drop off service to SGS key clients.
- Sample bottle preparation and assist sample receipt on Traralgon site.
- Perform laboratory analysis as per SGS methods and procedures.
- To perform sampling, analysis and reporting to relevant standards and as per client requirements.
- Perform QC checks, calibrations on field instruments and take action accordingly.
- Record all information obtained in a legible and concise manner.
- Review, monitor and ensure reports are completed as per the due date. This responsibility is shared with other Traralgon team members.
**Qualifications**:
- Qualifications in Environmental or Chemistry fields.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment or field sampling role (desirable).
- Possess basic report writing skills.
- Victorian driver's license.
- Understanding of measurement and testing techniques related to environmental field sampling.
