We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for delivering high‑quality civil and structural projects. This is an all‑round supervisory role suited to someone confident in leading small teams, coordinating works, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
About the Role
As a Civil Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for running one job at a time and overseeing day‑to‑day operations on site. You will coordinate plant, materials, and labour; read and interpret drawings; and ensure all quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, including structural formwork, concrete works, drainage, roadworks, and general civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a small onsite team to deliver civil works safely and effectively
* Supervise formwork, structural works, and concrete pours
* Interpret civil and structural drawings to ensure accurate delivery
* Coordinate plant, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
* Oversee drainage, roadworks, trenching, excavation, and general civil tasks
* Maintain high standards of quality and time management across all work fronts
* Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and safety requirements
* Plan work sequences and contribute to project scheduling
* Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with the following:
Essential
* Strong civil construction experience
* Proven experience supervising teams and running work fronts
* Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings
* Solid knowledge of steel and concrete structures
* Experience with plant operations, drainage, trenching, and roadworks
* Demonstrated quality, safety, and time‑management capability
* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently
Desirable
* EWP ticket
* Rigging ticket
* Previous experience delivering formwork and structural projects
