We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice to join our team, specialising in waterproofing, tiling, flooring, and general renovations. This is an excellent chance to gain hands‐on experience, learn a wide range of trade skills, and grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist tradespeople with waterproofing, tiling, flooring, and renovation projects.
* Receive your trade certification with our in‐job training program (through RPL conditions apply).
* Prepare and clean work areas, tools, and materials.
* Cut and lay tiles, flooring, and other materials under supervision.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
* Support with general carpentry, demolition, and renovation tasks as required.
* Learn and develop technical skills to progress within the trade.
* Adhere to all building codes and regulations.
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and site protocols.
* Customer relations.
Requirements
* Genuine interest in building and renovation work.
* Car with a valid driver's licence, unless you can commute to Wheelers Hill every morning.
* Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Ability to think on your own.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Ability to work safely.
* Valid First Aid certificate (if you don't have it we can organise it for you).
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
* White Card (or willingness to obtain).
* Prior experience not required.
