Fortinet Firewall Engineer

We are partnering with a leading organisation in Adelaide to secure an experienced Fortinet Firewall Engineer for an initial 1-3 month contract, with strong potential for extension into Q1 next year.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a Fortinet specialist who can hit the ground running and support a busy network and security environment.
Responsibilities
Configuration, management and support of FortiGate firewalls
Ongoing administration and optimisation using FortiManager
Implementation of firewall policies, NAT rules and security profiles
Troubleshooting complex network and security issues
Supporting firewall upgrades, patching and change activities
Working closely with internal IT and network teams
Skills & Experience
Proven hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate & FortiManager
Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing and switching
Solid understanding of network security principles
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Previous contract experience highly regarded
