Achieve Something Great
Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to support the After Hours team in a permanent part‑time role. You will provide strong clinical leadership through preceptorship, mentorship and real‑time guidance, fostering a collaborative learning culture across the facility.
Using adult learning principles and a range of educational approaches, you will help build staff capability and ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate and high‑quality care. You will take accountability for your own professional practice while actively supporting the development of others through teaching, coaching and reflective learning.
Working closely with management, educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants, you will plan, deliver and evaluate education that meets the needs of staff at all levels and aligns with organisational priorities. You will uphold professional standards, act in accordance with relevant codes and legislation, and model the behaviours expected under the NSW Health Code of Conduct, Transforming Your Experience and Leadership Strategies.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to strengthen clinical practice, support staff after hours and contribute to a positive, capable and confident nursing workforce.
Are You the Right Fit?
You'll excel in this role if you are an experienced nurse who is passionate about education, confident in your clinical practice and committed to supporting others after hours. You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to guide, mentor and empower staff in real time.
You're someone who uses adult learning principles effectively, adapts your teaching style to different learners and takes pride in fostering a positive, safe and capable workforce. Professionalism, accountability and reflective practice are central to how you work, and you model the standards, behaviours and values expected across NSW Health.
If you thrive on building capability, strengthening clinical practice and creating a supportive learning environment during the times staff need it most, you'll be a great fit for this role.
