Executive Director, Clinical Governance, Quality and Safety Central Queensland Health is seeking a Clinical Governance Leader to drive compliance with national standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements while embedding a just culture and learning organisation mindset across the health service. The successful candidate will lead clinical governance, quality and safety initiatives across CQHHS and Queensland Health. Responsibilities Influence clinicians and staff on the frontline to speak up, reflect, and continuously improve Partner with executive leadership, professional leads, and operational service leaders to deliver high-quality care Translate insights and lessons learned into actionable improvements across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) and Queensland Health About you / Qualifications You have a deep understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other relevant health standards. You have demonstrated expertise in leading, implementing, and managing an organisation\'s external certification and accreditation processes. You have a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with executives, health professionals, and government stakeholders. You\'re skilled at balancing daily operational demands with long-term improvement initiatives, especially under resource constraints. You have outstanding writing and reporting skills, with a proven ability to create clear, effective communications for a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams. What we offer Total remuneration value of $263,731 - $284,962 p.a. comprised of: salary between $202,404 - $220,983 p.a.; 12.75% employer superannuation contribution; 17.5% leave loading; Executive Vehicle Allowance.
