The Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
* Conduct comprehensive health assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
* Administer vaccinations and monitor post-vaccination observations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Triage patients and prioritize emergency cases to ensure timely and effective treatment.
* Assist General Practitioners with minor procedures and provide support in the management of patient clinical data.
* Perform wound dressings and suture removal to promote patient comfort and well-being.
* Deliver health education and coaching to empower patients with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their conditions effectively.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Current registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Experience working in General Practice or acute settings, with a strong understanding of health assessments and patient care principles.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* A passion for delivering exceptional patient care, with a focus on person-centered approaches and positive outcomes.
