Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be an integral part of our purchasing/management team, responsible for reducing procurement costs, updating pricing strategies on a national and global scale, leading/managing warehouse logistics and stock, and enhancing existing purchasing channels.
This position requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of productivity.

Key Responsibilities
1. Costing and Purchasing
Purchase ships' spares, services, and other essential items in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules.
2. Timely Delivery
Ensure goods are delivered promptly, meeting agreed-upon deadlines.
3. Negotiation with Suppliers
Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
4. New Supplier Identification and Development
Identify new suppliers and establish relationships to ensure a competitive marketplace.
5. Inventory Control and Stock Takes
Oversee inventory management, conducting regular stock takes to maintain accurate records.
6. Claims Processing and Returns
Manage claims from/to suppliers, including the return of goods as needed.
7. Invoice Authorization and Matching
Authorize suppliers' invoices after verifying goods receipt and matching invoices with delivery documents.
8. Data Management
Monitor and update data within our purchasing system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
9. Daily and Weekly Reporting
Provide daily and weekly reports, along with general administration support.

Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a relevant purchasing role.
2. Excellent written and spoken English skills.
3. Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
