Lead with Purpose – Community Services Lead
T and K Support Services | Ballan & Ballarat | Full-Time, Permanent
At T and K Support Services, we see the person before the diagnosis. We're an NDIS provider delivering inclusive community programs and tailored supports that empower people to live life on their terms.
We're seeking a Community Services Lead to oversee all community-based supports — from day programs to individual community access and specialised initiatives. You'll lead passionate teams, ensure services meet NDIS Quality Standards, and bring our trauma-informed, person-first approach to life in every interaction.
This is a leadership role with variety — managing services across locations, building strong participant relationships, and collaborating with our Residential Services Lead to ensure consistency across our whole organisation.
What you'll do:
* Lead, mentor, and support community services staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture
* Oversee community-based programs, ensuring they are culturally safe, outcome-focused, and aligned with participant goals
* Monitor service delivery and proactively address participant or stakeholder concerns
* Drive compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and close service delivery gaps
* Oversee participant onboarding, needs assessments, and smooth service transitions
* Support staff onboarding, inductions, and buddy shifts in collaboration with People & Culture and Rostering
* Step in to support residential services during leave or high demand periods
* Participate in the Out-of-Hours on-call roster (1 weekend every 6 weeks)
What you'll bring:
* Leadership experience in disability, mental health, or community services
* Strong knowledge of the NDIS and Quality & Safeguards Commission Standards
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
* Proven ability to manage services across multiple sites
* High-level organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands
* A collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates teams
* Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services (or related field)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, Driver's Licence, First Aid & CPR
The offer:
* Competitive salary aligned with experience and industry standards
* Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options
* A values-driven organisation where innovation and impact go hand in hand
If you're ready to lead services that make a real difference — and join a team where passion and purpose meet — we'd love to hear from you.
