HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of Administration Officer (APS4 level) on behalf of our client, a key Federal Government agency focused on supporting Australians living with disability, located in PARRAMATTA NSW. About the Role
As an APS 4 level Administration Officer, you'll provide administrative and operational support to the Internal Review Branch, ensuring participants and applicants receive efficient and empathetic service. Working within established frameworks, you'll play a vital part in improving the experience of people with disability.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing shared inboxes, calendars, and appointments
* Researching and responding to enquiries, analysing data and documents
* Preparing meeting minutes, papers, and correspondence
* Supporting travel coordination and financial reconciliation
* Liaising with participants to assist with internal review processes
* Triaging and prioritising incoming requests and documentation
* Contributing to project and administrative improvement initiatives

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Strong understanding and awareness of disability
* Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Educational background in business, administration, or a related field
* Relevant professional certifications
* Previous experience within the disability or public service sector
* Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples
* Empathy, advocacy, and a commitment to quality outcomes
