Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Lithgow Contact Centre (Government Department)
Contract Duration: 10 December June 2026
Pay Rate: $37.39 per hour + Superannuation
Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), Monday to Friday
Roster: Rotating shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm (two-week rotation)
About the Role
We are seeking 10 Customer Service Representatives to join a Government Department within the Road Safety team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Deliver accurate information and support to customers.
- Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication.
- Use multiple systems and tools efficiently to resolve queries.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2-3 years in customer service (call centre, administration, or retail).
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong email etiquette and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Previous government experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in an office environment and adhere to rotating rosters.

Assessment
Candidates must attend an in-person assessment centre at the Lithgow Contact Centre (approx. 90 minutes).
