Senior Leadership Role: Assistant Principal Administration
This senior leadership position is a critical component of our College Leadership Team, responsible for exercising leadership and assisting with the management of the school in accordance with Catholic Education policy.
* Rosters are created to manage playground duty (staff and students), meetings schedule, beginning/end of year (staff)
* Parent-Teacher Interviews are facilitated by this role
* The Timetable is constructed and maintained by this role; teacher, room and resources timetables are also managed
* Evacuations and Lockdown procedures are coordinated by this role
* Staff Replacements/Covers are organized by this role
* Assemblies are assisted and any changes to the daily routine for assemblies are implemented
* Exams schedules are created and staffing as necessary is handled by this role
* Calendars are managed including School Year and Assessment calendars
* Excursions require trip approvals from this role
* Sport liaisons are maintained with the Sport Coordinator regarding carnivals
* Music liaisons are maintained with the Cultural Coordinator regarding concerts
* NAPLAN and PAT testing scheduling and implementation are coordinated by this role including practice tests and actual tests
* Expert Teaching Teams are supported by this role in strategies determined by the CLT to develop teacher capacity
* Assistance with the Grievance and Complaint process is provided including dealing with parents, students and staff
This role requires a strong leader who can support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team in achieving our College's mission and vision.
