Projects & Operations Coordinator

Location: Tamworth, NSW

Employment Type: Full-time

Opportunity

Deliver impactful airside and landside infrastructure projects at a regional airport. Play a key role in maintaining aviation safety, compliance and operational excellence. Work across diverse projects within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

* Provide specialist technical project assistance for the delivery of airside and landside infrastructure projects across Tamworth Regional Airport and International Flight Training Tamworth.
* Ensure projects are delivered within safety, environmental, quality, time, cost and service level objectives.
* Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with associated aeronautical regulators in close conjunction with the Airport Technical Officer and key stakeholders.
* Co‐ordinate and participate in the preparation of clear and comprehensive project plans, specifications, tenders, contracts and other documentation necessary for delivery.
* Prepare contract documentation, supervise and administer infrastructure contracts for all airside and landside projects.
* Maintain the operational safety of the aerodrome, ensuring compliance with the relevant acts and regulations including the Work Health and Safety Act.
* Support operation of the airport security system including passenger and checked baggage screening and ensure that the screening contractor complies with the relevant acts and regulations.
* Maintain the integrity of Tamworth Regional Airport assets.

Requirements

* NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
* Certificate IV in Project Management, Business, Leadership & Management or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated experience in project, facilities or asset management (ideally within aviation or similar industry).
* Strong knowledge of safety, compliance and regulatory environments.
* Well‐developed communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in incident and emergency management procedures.
* Ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card.

Benefits

Salary: Grade 17 – 19 – $98,142.68 to $121,200.39 per annum, iplus 12% superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 35‐hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and value to the organisation. It requires an employee salary contribution for the motor vehicle.

Other Requirements

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre‐employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
